HousingWire’s 2020 Women of Influence recognizes the 100 most influential women in leadership in the housing industry. Our very own Annette Lowder, COO of Intercap Lending stands among these recognized leaders.
“This year’s Women of Influence represent leaders who have faced some of the most unprecedented challenges the housing industry has seen in years,” HousingWire Magazine Editor Kelsey Ramírez said. “Their strength set an example of leadership that impacted not just their teams or companies but the industry overall. This was one of the most competitive years we have ever seen for the award, and we are proud to introduce you to the top 100 Women of Influence.”
Annette Lowder has been a driving force behind Intercap’s quick rise in annual production of over 3500% since 2017. She led the team that built Intercap’s underwriting, compliance, appraisal, processing, closing, and disclosure teams from the ground up to support Intercap’s rise as a leading regional mortgage lender.
“Annette’s vision, work ethic, and ability to adapt are second to none,” says Brock Worthen, President of Intercap Lending. “Her vision and expertise have allowed Intercap to scale using technology, allowing all operation teams to work more files in less time.”
Under Annette’s leadership, Intercap Lending has built a reputation of closing times that are half the time of Intercap’s peers, as published in the March 2020 EllieMae Origination Insight Report.
In addition to her contributions to Intercap, Annette is a member of the Board of Directors for Utah Housing Corporation, an organization dedicated to supporting affordable home ownership options in the state of Utah. Annette has been an important part of driving affordable housing during extremely challenging times in the mortgage industry.
Please join us in celebrating Annette’s well-deserved recognition and her contributions to the housing industry and Intercap Lending.
